Get lost in venice following our detours

Venicedetour is a web guide which particoularly focus on itineraries. We call them detours because one of the best ways to visit venice is not to follow (or not only) the mass tourism floods that go up and down piazza san marco and the rialto bridge.
Take your time, go deeper inside our narrow streets (calli) and look around: you will discover lovely sights, locals and shops and you will really see venice!

About the author

Hi Everybody!
As a receptionist in venice hotels since some years I always deal with such an important role to give suggestions to people who ' re going to stay in Venice. I'm a true venetian and you can say I know a lot of things about this wonderful city. Nothing more wrong! Many venetians don't know what a treasure this city is..

That's why I'm trying to put together what I know and daily discover and what real people (friends, hotel guests, etc.) tell me.

I think you'll find some interesting stuff here and I'll appreciate your feedback, of course!
